Established author and playwright Mette Jakobsen initially had a basic website set up, Mette was after an upgrade to help showcase all her books she has written in literary fiction and also YA fiction, with a need to separate the two on her website.

We moved the URL from the old website over to Squarespace where I created a new sitemap that would include pages for all her books as well as help to separate her literary fiction and her YA fiction from each other.

Mette has a love of snow and stars and I had so much fun with the colour palette and textures on the build, creating an almost ethereal experience.

Each of her 5 books now has their own space for buying links, reviews, podcasts, videos etc and the page that features all the books, the user can easily navigate between both her fiction books and YA.

I set her up with Google Analytics and Google Search Console as well as building up and creating her SEO plan to help ensure her website continues to push forward in results.

Mette is such a lovely person and an amazing talent. I feel very lucky to have been able to create her website with her. Pure joy!
