North Shore Doula is the business of Kelly Allen, a knowledgeable, compassionate doula who was launching her new practice and needed a website that could actually be found by the people who needed her most.
Kelly had already created her website, but she knew it wasn’t doing the heavy lifting it should. She needed help improving her visibility in Google, refining her message, and turning her site into a confident, professional online presence that would attract clients and reflect her expertise.
We began with a full SEO audit to understand what was working, what wasn’t, and where the opportunities were. From there, I rebuilt her on-page SEO, developed a clear keyword strategy, and implemented local SEO to ensure her business appeared in relevant searches. I also refined the structure and presentation of the site, resizing and optimising images, improving clarity, and adding custom elements to elevate the overall look and usability.
The goal was to create a website that felt calm, reassuring, and easy to navigate. A space where expectant parents could quickly understand Kelly’s services, feel confident in her experience, and take the next step.
The results were fast and incredibly rewarding. Within days of the SEO work being completed, Google was actively crawling the site, and Kelly achieved the top position for her domain and primary search term, North Shore Doula. A huge win for a brand-new business.
